“Massive pitchers of sangria”
Reviewed January 20, 2016
Ordered the extra large sangria, the pitcher was massive! Great for three gals to split before a night out.

We have had tapas in many cities, including in Spain, and Sangria 46's excellent. The food was complemented by prompt and attentive service (but, not overbearing).
"Sorry that we did not come here sooner" Reviewed November 2, 2015
We went to Sangria 46 after walking by it numerous times on a crowded restaurant row. Sorry that we did not come here sooner. We were two couples that were busy talking and when it came time to order we simply told the waiter to choose for us. He brought out a great mix of tapas with one being better than the other...
“Perfect spot for brunch before Broadway show”

I took a chance with open table for a spot before our Sunday Matinee. We were welcomed immediately and the patio was added surprise. The eggplant with goat cheese was excellent. We loved the sexy sangria which was not on the menu - made with cava for a drier taste - perfect on a warm August day.
“Delicious Tapas, faboulous service”

We are grateful to the concierge of our hotel for recommending Sangria 46 for a quick pre-theater meal. The maitre d' had a table ready for us when we arrived and steered us to menu items that could be served quickly. In less than an hour, we had a fabulous meal.
“Good place to eat after a Broadway show”

Because you can just order one or more tapas rather than a full dinner, this intimate and reasonably priced Spanish restaurant west of the theater district is a good choice. We arrived at about 9:15 PM and the place was hopping. The small bar area was full of drinkers and dancers (doing the tango, of course!)

The sangria is by far the best attribute of this restaurant. Don't pass it up! Service was excellent.

“Wonderful restaurant, great staff, many food choices.”

Stopped in for dinner after the theatre. We were greeted and seated immediately. The waitress was friendly and accommodating. We ordered a pitcher of strawberry and peach sangria -- a wonderful taste -- and a basket of chips and salsa. We chose to order a number of tapas plates......

Excellent food, service and Sangria. The Tapas are very good, and the prices are very reasonable. The waiter we had was so accomodating and thoughtful.
